If you head over to google.com today, you may notice that google has gone black, to help spread the word about Earth Hour. Hey it’s working, that’s how I found out.

Here’s the details: In an effort to cut emissions, people everywhere will be turning off their lights between 8 and 9pm in their local time zones on Saturday March, 29 2008…that’s tonight.

So join the party, cut off your lights, break out the candles and don’t burn your house down. For further inspiration watch the video below, for an added bonus it’s narrated by Jeremy Piven.
