This episode of In A Nutshell covers the Presidential election held over the weekend in Zimbabwe; whose results are due today. Current President Robert Mugabe faces his strongest opposition yet. The Movement for Democratic Change headed by Morgan Tsvangirai is currently leading, but hopefully this will be a clean election and the rightful person wins. Mugabe has been president since Zimbabwe became independent in 1980. The country is in terrible economic conditions. People are looking for a fresh start to get out of the famished situation they are in now.
